MISSION STATEMENT
Celogos is an emerging privately-held biotech company that engineers innovative products, devices and services in cellular & tissular therapies for regenerative medicine. Celogos aims to identify, develop, register & commercialize cell therapy products. By targeting niche market segments and designing custom-made solutions, our objective is to fill therapeutic gaps for unmet medical needs and makes them available worldwide.
BACKGROUND
Celogos was founded in 2001 and was initially incubated by the Pasteur Institute in Paris.
Since inception in 2001, the company has been working on the development of an innovative technology platform called RCD (Rational Cell Design). This patented platform has been applied to the discovery, optimisation, production and delivery of new cell therapy products. RCD constitutes the key building block of the company's strategic plan to provide innovative and efficient solutions for a large panel of muscular diseases.
In 2005, in an effort to successfully develop the Celogos technological platform to its utmost potential, the company entered into an alliance with Laboratoire HRA Pharma, a France-based specialty pharmaceutical company (www.hra-pharma.com). This alliance associates Celogos's strong scientific know-how in muscle regeneration with HRA Pharma's clinical development and business expertise in pharmaceutical field.Today, HRA Pharma owns a majority stake in Celogos.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
Celogos is open to collaborative projects with public and private institutions to enhance its R&D capacities and to participate in commercialisation opportunities.
